Hi, I’m Matthew Bailey.

I’m a magician, but more than anything, I’m someone who loves bringing people together for a great time. I specialize in close-up magic which just means I skip the big, dramatic stage props and theatrical smoke and mirrors. Instead, I focus on creating interactive, impossible moments right under your nose using everyday objects (and occasionally, your own thoughts!).

For me, magic is about sharing a laugh, having fun, and experiencing a bit of genuine surprise together. When I’m not traveling for events, you can regularly find me performing for guests as a resident performer at The Point, where I get to do what I love most.

Whether you’re planning a private party, looking to add something unique to an event, or just dropped by to say hello, I’m glad you’re here. Take a look around, and if you want to bring some magic to your next gathering

Where will I Travel To?

The short answer is anywhere! I’ve been lucky enough to perform around the world, and I find it a massive honor every single time someone brings me out to be a part of their special event.

There’s something incredibly rewarding about packing up and traveling so far from home to share my craft with new friends. Because I'm located close to several major airports—including the NYC hubs—getting to your city is seamless and stress-free. No destination is too far, and I’d love to make the trip to create an unforgettable experience for your guests.

Looking for my residency? Come visit The Point in Saranac Lake. This delightful estate is where I am honored to share magic with guests during communal cocktail hours and dinners.

Your privacy is very important to me. While many have volunteered testimonials of my performances, I will never share your exact address on the travel map when performing for private events, retreats, or family functions.
